New features & improvements
- We've introduced a new Skills management module: you can now create, rename, and delete skills from your organization settings, and consult which staff members and services use a given skill before removing it.
- We've updated staff profiles to support a skill-based mode: assign skills to a staff member and their eligible services are calculated automatically.
- We've updated service profiles with a new Skill field: when a skill is selected, only staff members who possess that skill are proposed during booking.
- We've added a Skills column to the staff and services tables, providing a quick overview of assigned skills at a glance.
- We've extended skill-based routing to all booking surfaces — Widget v2, Widget v3, Internal Widget, and the booking console — so customers are only matched with qualified staff members.
- We've extended Watchers to cover email and SMS notification templates, so you are notified whenever a communication or notification template is modified.
Fixes
- We've fixed an issue where dragging and dropping an appointment with buffer time in the calendar was incorrectly reducing its duration.
- We've fixed an API issue where saving availability periods for the same day with different services could result in all periods being assigned to the same service.
