What is a schedule template?

A schedule template lets you define a reusable hours structure. It can then be assigned to one or more collaborators over a given period, making weekly or rotating planning easier.

Note

Example: a standard week from Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 18:00, or a rotation over 3 alternating weeks.

Accessing templates

From the planning module, click the “Manage schedule templates” option.

Creating a new template

  1. Click “Add a schedule” (button at the top right).
  2. Give your template a name (e.g. Test week, Team A rotation).
  3. Add the hours you want for each day of the week:
    • You can add several weeks to the same template to create cyclical schedules (e.g. Week 1, Week 2, etc.).
    • For each day, define the time slots (e.g. 08:00 → 18:00).
  4. Save your template.

Template example

In the example above, the “Test weeks” template contains three weeks configured as follows:

  • Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday — 08:00 to 18:00
  • Week 2: Tuesday to Friday — 08:00 to 18:00
  • Week 3: Thursday to Sunday — 08:00 to 18:00

Using a template

Once created, a template can be applied to one or more collaborators to automate their schedule:

  • Go to the main planning interface.
  • Click the icon for applying templates.
  • Select the collaborators and the period you want.
  • Choose the template to apply.
