The Widget page of the settings module lets you choose the languages offered to your customers in the booking widget, and connect the widget to your own audience measurement tools: Matomo and Google Analytics.

Choose the widget languages

Where to find this setting?
Settings menu > Widget, at the all-locations level > General section > Widget languages field

Seven languages are available: English, French, Spanish, Portuguese, German, Dutch and Italian. The ticked languages are the ones your customers can pick in the widget’s language selector.

  1. Open the Widget languages list.
  2. Tick the languages to offer and untick the others. The field shows your selection, separated by commas.
  3. Click Save, then confirm: this setting applies to all your locations.
Note
Your account language is always offered: it is ticked and greyed out in the list, and cannot be removed.
Note
This is the same setting as “Supported customer languages” in the former console (General settings > Internationalisation). A change made on one side shows on the other.

Measure the widget audience with Matomo or Google Analytics

The Tracking section, at the bottom of the Widget page, connects the widget to your analytics tools. They then receive the events of the booking journey, for example the choice of a service (“Selected Service”).

Where to find this setting?
Settings menu > Widget > Tracking section. The section exists at the all-locations level and for each location.

Turn on Matomo tracking

  1. Turn on Enable Matomo tracking.
  2. In Your Matomo address, enter the address of your Matomo Cloud space, for example your-account.matomo.cloud.
  3. In Container ID, enter the ID of your Matomo Tag Manager container.
  4. Click Save.
Important
Matomo tracking works with Matomo Cloud. Both fields are required.

Turn on Google Analytics tracking

  1. Turn on Enable Google Analytics tracking.
  2. In Container ID, enter the measurement ID of your Google Analytics 4 property. It starts with G-.
  3. Click Save.
Note
The two tools can be turned on separately or together. A setting saved for a location only applies to that location’s widget. To stop tracking, turn the switch off and save: the widget no longer sends anything to that tool.
Important
Tracking applies to the V3 booking widget.
